Alaska Waterfowl Association has a long history of conserving and managing waterfowl and wetlands here in Alaska. If you read about the “History of AWA” It will explain some of the facts and challenges they faced in the 70s for one of its founding fathers.

Times have changed, both State/Federal regulations and policies help establish and dictate the limits of what we can do to help with Alaska’s waterfowl and wetlands. AWA takes pride in working closely with the Alaska Fish and Game Dept. on restoration and enhancement projects here locally. As we grow, we are excited about reaching out and contributing to other areas of Alaska.

If you have some ideas or projects you would like to share with us, please do not hesitate to contact AWA.
